Set at the confluence of the Luangwa, Kapamba, and Lusangazi Rivers in the unspoiled wilderness of South Luangwa National Park, Three Rivers Bush Camp is a stylish and intimate retreat that offers a true escape into the African bush. Opened in June 2017 and powered entirely by solar energy, the camp is nestled beneath a canopy of mature sausage trees, with its elegant tents overlooking either the majestic Luangwa River or spectacular wildlife-rich lagoons. The surrounding plains attract an abundance of game, and it is not uncommon to see elephants, giraffes, waterbuck, and other wildlife wandering through this remarkable landscape.

Accommodating just ten guests in five spacious and beautifully appointed tents, the camp offers an exclusive and highly personalised safari experience. Each tent is raised on an elevated platform to maximise views of the surrounding wilderness and the constant activity of the resident wildlife. Natural materials, earthy tones, and elegant yet understated furnishings create a tranquil atmosphere, while large gauzed windows invite uninterrupted views of the ever-changing scenery. Draped mosquito netting ensures comfort throughout the night, and the spacious en-suite bathrooms feature double vanities, a flush toilet, and both indoor and outdoor showers, adding a touch of luxury to the authentic bush experience. Private decks provide the perfect setting to unwind, whether watching wildlife pass by or admiring a sky filled with stars.

Dining at Three Rivers Bush Camp is a memorable experience in itself. Meals are served in a beautifully appointed open-air dining area discreetly positioned along the riverbank, where guests can enjoy exceptional cuisine while taking in the sights and sounds of the wilderness. Keep your camera close at hand, as hippos wallow in the water below, crocodiles bask along the banks, and colourful birdlife, including African skimmers and bee-eaters, frequent the area.
