Stretching across northeastern South Africa, Kruger National Park is one of Africa's largest, most celebrated, and wildlife-rich safari destinations. Covering nearly 20,000 square kilometres, the park protects an extraordinary diversity of landscapes, from open savannahs and riverine forests to granite hills and dense woodlands, creating ideal habitats for an abundance of wildlife.
Renowned worldwide for its exceptional game viewing, Kruger is one of the best places in Africa to see the legendary Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, rhinoceros, and buffalo.
