Mahali Mzuri, meaning “beautiful place” in Swahili, is a luxury tented safari camp located in the Olare Motorogi Conservancy, within the greater Maasai Mara ecosystem. The camp sits on the side of a lush valley overlooking rolling plains and the annual Great Migration route.

Recently refurbished and reopened in June 2025, Mahali Mzuri combines contemporary African design with authentic Maasai-inspired details, creating an elegant yet intimate safari experience. The camp has 12 luxury tents, panoramic views, exceptional wildlife viewing, and a strong connection to the surrounding Maasai community.

Mahali Mzuri offers 12 beautifully designed luxury safari tents, each positioned to take advantage of the spectacular views across the valley and surrounding wilderness. The tents feature king-size or twin beds, a comfortable lounge area, a separate walk-in shower, a freestanding bathtub, and a spacious private viewing deck.

The camp's position within the Olare Motorogi Conservancy provides excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing, including the Big Five, while offering a more exclusive safari environment. The conservancy is also located along the route of the Great Wildebeest Migration, which typically passes through the area between July and September.

Guests can enjoy twice-daily game drives, guided bush walks with Maasai warriors, hot-air balloon safaris, Maasai community visits, and cultural experiences. The camp also offers opportunities to explore local markets and learn more about traditional Maasai life.
